  Understanding Soils  

AU Arboretum
Meet at the office pavilion

"Different plants prefer different soils. Understanding soils will help make you more successful at growing your plants."

 Terrariums  

Kiesel Park Pavilion
April 13 @ 10 am
with Becky Large

"Learn how to make 
and care for your 
own terrarium."
 
Soil, stones and a variety of small plants will be provided. 

Bring a gallon jar with an opening large enough for your hand to reach inside. Bring any other small decorations you may want to use in your terrarium.

"Learn 6 simple guidelines 
for taking better photos"

There will be a short presentation inside followed by time in the garden to practice taking shots.

Wear comfortable clothes 
Bring a camera or 
other photo-taking device
