Hello Garden Lovers!
During the last three months the Alabama County Extension Service (ACES) has worked hard to develop webinars on a variety of garden topics including Rain gardens, Pruning Tomatoes, Shade Gardens, Herbs, and Butterfly Gardens. Of special interest might be the video on Straw Bale Gardening featuring our current intern class! For online instruction simply click "ACES VIDEOS FOR YOU", or select one of the other interesting links below.
The time spent watching these webinars can be counted toward your required CEUs. Remember, Master Gardeners are required to earn 10 hours of CEU each year. These videos were developed to provide research based knowledge to all Alabama gardeners. They are a wonderful resource.
Also, please consider learning about the Extension's new program, "Grow More Give More" and help yourself and others grow to share more vegetables across Alabama.

We are a 501(c)3 organization. About us
The Master Gardeners Program educates volunteers in science-based gardening and landscape practices and helps them effectively extend research-based information to the public as Master Gardeners. The Master Gardener's primary role is that of “educator.” There are many different ways our volunteers in Lee County help the Alabama Extension System (ACES) expand outreach to the community. Our "Help Line" is available to answer your garden and landscape questions spring-through-fall. We offer a variety of garden-related programs and workshops for the public, construct and maintain community demonstration gardens and help implement community projects. In addition, every even-numbered year we conduct a mid-May garden tour to showcase successful local gardens and offer ideas and inspiration. The tour is also our fundraiser, supporting our projects and programs. Do you love all things related to gardens and gardening?
