Come visit our Demonstration Garden at Kiesel Park!

Please stop by and visit. This is an educational garden and it is here for you. Master-gardener volunteers are usually at the garden on Tuesday mornings during the growing season, weather permitting. They would be happy to share the garden with you and answer your plant and gardening questions if you find them in the garden. Many plants are labeled and all plants demonstrated are suitable for our climate.

This is the "exuberant" growing phlox in the Natives bed at the KP demonstration garden. The adjective belongs to Tomie Dugas. It is Phlox divaricata (Wild Blue Phlox) although it can appear in shades from blue to pink to white.

An antique climbing rose that has filled the arbor between the Nunn-Winston House and the pavilion for years....it is quite fragrant.
